Basketball Wives is a VH1 reality TV show. Despite its name, there are very few wives of basketball players on the show. The aim of this show is to give viewers a glimpse into the life of women who have been involved with NBA players. By doing this, it gives these relatively unknown women celebrity status.

The show is full of drama, gossip, catfights and partying. In reality you don’t get much gossip on NBA players except that the cheat. All of the women on the show have been cheated on and they have no problem being vocal about it.

Season two of the show through viewers for a loop. The newest cast mate Tami Roman had conflicts with nearly everyone on the show.  Tami was married to former NBA star Kenny Anderson. Her conflicts were due to the fact that she likes to drink but she gets aggressive after doing so; which she admitted.

The twist in the plot came in the season finale when Tami and cast mate Evelyn Lozada, who was formerly engaged to ex-NBA star Antoine Walker, got into an altercation. Viewers had been waiting all season for this because the previews for the fight scene were running long before the season began to air.

The big secret was the while Tami was married to Kenny, Evelyn and Kenny had an affair that lasted six months. This was quite a surprise to Tami because while she knew that Kenny cheated on her, she did not expect to hear that from someone she considered a friend. Yet it appeared that Tami was more hurt than angry at the news. This hurt turned to rage when Evelyn became very nonchalant about it and told Tami that she didn’t matter. Tami then tried to attack Evelyn. She was able to get in one swipe to her head before security stepped in.
