Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Real Housewives of Atlanta is one of the most popular series on Bravo. Cast member Nene Leakes has been on the show since it’s inception. Now in it’s third season, there have been lots of changes.

When the show first started, Nene was one of the most-liked characters. She was loud and boisterous, but she was always honest which won her fans over. As the seasons progressed, she started to change. It seemed like she had a bit of an attitude and it appeared that she started conflict for no reasons. This turned many fans off, but they still watched the show.

In Season 3, Nene went way over the top. She had a nose job which she initially denied, but it was obviously to anyone with two working eyes. Next she had liposuction and breast augmentation- this was shown on camera. Then she had problems with her husband. On the outside it appeared that the problems were because her husband was being distant and dishonest; but the gossip that the problem was Nene.

Her husband Gregg was unknowingly recorded saying something to the effect of the show got to Nene’s head, her attitude changed, and she didn’t want to be bothered with him anymore. He also said that he spent a large sum of money to make her the person she is today, and he wanted that money back.

What will happen to Nene’s marriage is unknown, but you can currently watch Nene on Celebrity Apprentice. The word on the street is that she gets into with the fellow cast mate Star Jones; which honestly isn’t too surprising.

Michaele Salahi Strikes Out Again

Michaele Salahi just won’t go away. This is the lady from Real Housewives of DC who crashed a White House Party with her husband Tareq Salahi. Both the couple, and Bravo got a lot of heat for this, but really it helped the show because it was the only reason most people watched. The Real Housewives of DC was boring and it would be really surprising if they were offered another season.

But the Salahi’s kept it interesting with all the gossip taking place behind the scenes. First people were talking about the White House party crashing. Then people were gossiping about the husbands company saying it was misleading, they didn’t pay people, and a host of other unattractive things. People were also saying that the Salahi’s were posers and social climbers with no real money or status. That’s not really gossip though, that just sounds snobby.

Now the latest thing is that Michaele Salahi has gotten kicked off of the show Celebrity Rehab. And it’s not because of anything drama filled. She got kicked off because she has no addiction! That means her sole purpose of being there was to get on tv again. Why else would a pseudo-celebrity sign up to be on a show about rehabilitation when they don’t have anything to rehabilitate!

Maybe they should have kept her on. Since she seems to have this strong desire to be famous no matter what the cost- perhaps she does have some issues that Dr. Drew could address.

Basketball Wives is a VH1 reality TV show. Despite its name, there are very few wives of basketball players on the show. The show is full of drama, gossip, catfights and partying. In reality you don’t get much gossip on NBA players except that the cheat. All of the women on the show have been cheated on and they have no problem being vocal about it.

Season two of the show through viewers for a loop. The newest cast mate Tami Roman had conflicts with nearly everyone on the show. Tami was married to former NBA star Kenny Anderson. Her conflicts were due to the fact that she likes to drink but she gets aggressive after doing so; which she admitted.

The twist in the plot came in the season finale when Tami and cast mate Evelyn Lozada, who was formerly engaged to ex-NBA star Antoine Walker, got into an altercation. Viewers had been waiting all season for this because the previews for the fight scene were running long before the season began to air.

The big secret was the while Tami was married to Kenny, Evelyn and Kenny had an affair that lasted six months. This was quite a surprise to Tami because while she knew that Kenny cheated on her, she did not expect to hear that from someone she considered a friend. Yet it appeared that Tami was more hurt than angry at the news. This hurt turned to rage when Evelyn became very nonchalant about it and told Tami that she didn’t matter. Tami then tried to attack Evelyn. She was able to get in one swipe to her head before security stepped in.

Isaiah Mustafa will probably always be known as the Old Spice Guy. You’ve seen the commercials. He prances around with no shirt on showing off his chiseled abs and making the ladies swoon. Some of the scenes are completely ridiculous but he’s really brought the Old Spice brand back to life.

The commercials are obviously geared towards women but the product is for men so the strategy may seem a bit confusing.
