Michael Jackson passed away on June 25th 2009. It doesn’t matter if you loved him or hated him- it’s hard to deny that he had an impact on society and that music will be forever changed because of him.
Now that he is dead and gone you would think that the gossip about him would fizzle, but it hasn’t. The latest Michael Jackson gossip is that he is not dead, but alive. This should not surprise anyone that devout fans believe this. When someone passes away, it can be hard to accept and you need something to cling onto. Gossiping about a celebrity still being alive is not new. When the rapper Tupac died in 1996 there were rumors that he faked his death. Likewise, people have been saying Elvis is still alive since he died in 1977.
Believers of this theory say that the body found was not his, and instead it was an impersonator and one day he will come back and surprise us all. Some say Michael Jackson went into hiding because he felt as if someone were trying to kill him. Others say Michael Jackson went into hiding so that he could finally have peace.
Some may wonder why in the world anyone would believe such a thing. The first reason is that Michael Jackson was known to pull crazy stunts. The second reason is that there is a news video that shows Michael Jackson’s body being flown to the coroner in a helicopter. At one point in the video you can see the body bag, and it appears that the bag moves into an upwards position. However the camera angle happens to be changing at this exact moment so what people are seeing is most likely an optical illusion.
