Almost everyone looks for something fun to do to break the monotony of the work week. Even if you love your job, a change of pace now and then is healthy. Going to the movies is one of the top recreational activities people look to for that change of pace. It not only is something to do but a hot office topic when the weekend is over.
What’s Hot or Not?
At present the top five movies are the following:
1.Thor 2. Fast Five 3. Jumping the Broom 4. Something Borrowed 5. Rio
Those which have not fared so well since 2005 in preferences are these from bottom up: 1. Dream Well 2. Pledge This
3. Ram Gopal Varma’s Indian Flames 4. The Little Fox 2 5. Too Beautiful
Going to the movies for a break doesn’t have to be just to the best of movies. Sometimes going to a real loser is so funny it really is more entertaining. Taking it back to work with you prolongs and shares the fun.
Latest Trends in Movie Watching
Probably the greatest trend in movie watching is watching them at home. Home movie watching is a rapidly growing preference due to the faster availability of the DVD version of new releases. The better quality equipment now available also increases staying home to watch. Receiving movies by cable, pay-per-view, or using recording devices (TiVo) are also very popular. One of the more recent trends too is being able to watch regular TV on your computer. This makes catching up on missed episodes a snap. Also very available for purchase is season shows on DVD.
